Overview
Sharing its first days with the Pindari trail, the Kafni route branches at Dwali and climbs a quieter valley to the Kafni Glacier, directly beneath the snows of Nanda Kot. Fewer trekkers, broader meadows, and a wilder feel — many combine Kafni and Pindari in a single week for the best of both.
Highlights
- Kafni Glacier beneath Nanda Kot (22,510 ft)
- Quieter trail than Pindari — more solitude
- Option to combine with Pindari Zero Point
- Alpine meadows above Khatiya
- Village culture at Khati
