About the Trek
The Darma Valley is one of the most untouched trekking regions in Kumaon, running along the India–Tibet border area near Dharchula. The trail passes through traditional villages of the Rung (Byansi) community before reaching open meadows facing the Panchachuli — a striking massif of five distinct snow peaks.
Because the valley sits close to the international border, forest and inner-line permits are required — our team arranges these as part of every departure.
