She Who Removes Worries
Chintpurni — from 'chinta' (worry) and 'purni' (fulfiller) — is revered as the goddess who dispels anxieties. It is counted among the Shakti Peethas (the feet of Sati) and among the seven great Devi shrines of the region, drawing pilgrims from across Punjab and Himachal.
Darshan
The shrine sits on a forested hilltop in Una district. The Chhinnamastika form is worshipped through a pindi in the sanctum; queues are long on weekends and festival days.
Best Time and How to Reach
Year-round, with huge Navratri and Shravan-ashtami melas. Reach via Una or Hoshiarpur by road — it pairs naturally with Jwala Ji, Brajeshwari and Naina Devi (Bilaspur) on a Himachal Shakti circuit.
