The Adventure Finale

Buran Ghati saves its drama for the end: after days of storybook meadows, the pass drops away in a near-vertical snow wall that trekkers descend by rope and glissade — one of Indian trekking's most exhilarating moments, run safely by experienced teams.

The Route

From Janglik village the trail opens onto the vast Dayara meadows, visits the Chandranahan lake cluster, and camps at Dhunda below the pass. After the wall descent, the route drops through River Camp toward Barua village in the Baspa valley.

Best Time and Difficulty

Late May–June for the full snow-wall experience; September–October for firmer, quieter trails. Moderate-to-difficult: honest fitness needed and comfort with the rope descent, which guides manage step by step.

Detailed day-wise itinerary, current price and departure dates are shared on enquiry. Conditions, permits and regulations change season to season — we confirm everything current at booking.
